Camera: extreme close up of the buzzer/ door bell speaker creates tension, makes the viewer wonder what they are going to hear. There is a mid shot of the main character but there isn't a lot of lighting in it, this could suggest that there is also tension because you cannot see him properly. There is also a long take when the main character looks out of the window, this can create suspense because the audience might be wondering if there is anyone outside the door.
Mise en scene: it is shot in an apartment, it looks like a modern apartment owned by a wealthy person, this could create suspense by suggesting that the man in the house is rich and so he may be a target to others because he probably got his money from gambling.
Editing: There is an eyeline match, when the guy in the flat looks out the window to see if he can see the person that was speaking to him on the doorbell speaker. This can create tension because it makes the audience wonder where the person outside the flat went or if this person is going to break into the glat and kill the guy that lives in it.
Sound: there is very little dialogue in this scene, the only dialogue in this clip is when the main character answers the door bell and there is an unknown person speaking but that person doesn't speak much, this creates suspense because everything is silent and it makes the audience wonder what will happen next or make them wonder what is going on.
